Bobbitt Design Build Converts Building for Storefront Retail

COLUMBIA, SC - March 28, 2012- Bobbitt Design Build recently began work on the 9,000-square-foot, two-story upfit for multiple retail tenants located on Gervais Street in Columbia.
The renovations consist of converting an automotive and tire service facility into storefront retail space for four tenants. Bobbitt will maximize the space for each tenant and address the owners' desired look for the front elevation.
Partnering with local architects, engineers, interior designers, and the developer, the facility will undergo a major transformation and bring an upscale retail locale to the 1800 block of Gervais Street. Bobbitt was awarded the project because of its long-term, proven relationship with the local developer.
Anticipated completion is summer 2012.
